There have been many new way to communication in the last years. To meet so many needs, if you want to
·         post pictures without many works Instagram,
·         pictures, words,links,gifs, videos tumblr
·         know where your high friend is Facebook
·         know what someone had for lunch twitter
With there being so many apps and social media comes so many new ways to interact, get information, but with all this good things come bad things. Like hacking, cyber theft and cat fishing

Benefits                           

  • ·         You can talk to anyone from anywhere at any time.

  • ·         Get updates for upcoming events: South African ultra headlining acts

  • ·         Find a job

         
Risks

  • ·         Can get cat fished

  • ·         Personal information stolen

              Yahoo is used a lot in South Africa, with the yahoo hack countless accounts were hacked

Benefits
     

  •       Business growth

Social media is a great place to advertise and a lot more people see those ads then those in papers. Not just ads companies like Woolworths sharing recipes and factorie sharing competition details.

With emails the whole office can know the board meeting has been moved to Friday

  • ·         Inappropriate employee conduct:

Employee social media interactions can result in harassing, threatening and discriminating.
·         Hacking

  • Company files being hacked could lead to personal and business information being leaked.

Things like a community meeting or mostly in South Africa political parties communicating about upcoming meetings or asking community what they need

Risks

  • ·         Not everyone uses social media some might not get the messages. In South Africa not everyone has a smart phone or Wi-Fi to be up to date with everything.
