PETITION
DIGITAL RIGHTS FOR EVERYONE

A petition by
RENE DENNISON and ORATILE MOGALE
  

Petition Addressed to:
Council of Minister (China)
We understand and would like to bring to your attention the following challenge that was identified in your country of small population having access to the digital world.
We would like to highlight to you digital right everyone has right and freedom to use all types of digital technology while using the technology in an acceptable and appropriate manner.
Digital Rights:
·         The right to digital freedom
·         The right to digital security
·         The right to digital privacy
·         The right to digital equality
·         The right to digital creativity
·         The right to digital Openness
·         The right to digital sharing
·         The right to digital association
·         The right to digital Access
·         The right to digital knowledge


Digital Responsibilities:
  • Responsibility not to falsify our identity in any way
  • Responsibility to keep data/information safe from hackers
  • Responsibility to report bullying, harassing, sexting, or identity theft
  • Responsibility to cite works used for resources and researching
  • Responsibility to model and teach student expectations of technology use
  • Responsibility not to violate others rights




Recommendations:
·         We demand the right for all people to have access to Digital world.
·         We call on all citizens to stand up and defend these rights.
·         We call on the United Nations to acknowledge the central importance of protecting civil rights in the digital age
·         We call on governments to sign and adhere to such a convention.

Not be judged based on their avatar, profile or interests

Digital citizens have a right to create, choose whatever theme and collaborate on the internet

Digital citizens have a right open and transparent internet
7.       the right to digital sharing
Digital citizens have a right share their opinions and discoveries freely

Digital citizens have a right with whoever they want on the internet
9.       the right to digital  Access
Digital citizens have a right to access the internet
10.   the right to digital knowledge.
Digital citizens have a right to gain digital knowledge.
